Born 31st of August 1956 Liverpool. I trained at St Martin's school of Art mid 70's & have worked at the high end of craft shows for more than 20 years. I've taken Art seriously since I was 7 - not as a way of making money but as a pursuit of meaning. Art, or ones art of living, is how ones life encapsulates it's wisdom into an external, hopefully, sentient form. This form to outlive it's local creator in such a way that it can influence others to go search for meaning in their life.
Everything that exists is electro/magnetic frequency or vibration at varying stages of condensation. We see a small segment of that gradient and call it reality, The rest is dismissed as fantasy, folklore, myth & invention.
This work explores my translation of what I can sense but not see.
I got my first camera at the age of 10 and have loved the process ever since. Now I have 2 Nikons (one an infra red conversion) and a little Canon infra red and I use these to capture magical moments and landscapes. Recently all 3 have enhanced another childhood love - Exploring derelict buildings.
